MMConnect Software and Products
The General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD) enters into force on May 25, 2018 and replaces the current data protection directive and law in force. This arises with the aim of unifying, at EU level, the policy of protection of personal data and the rights of their holders.
Thus, in order to guarantee the right to privacy and data portability, all applications of the MMConnect software have been adapted so that the identification and presentation of the personal data records can be easily obtained, as well as making all data anonymous are registered.
Biometric data processing
The use of control systems by means of biometric data presents itself as a technological means that allows to replace and reinforce the control of attendance and access. Thus, the treatment of biometric data, falling within the category of personal data, must comply with all the conditions established in Law 67/98 of October 26, such as:
"The treatment must be made with respect for the privacy reserve (Article 2) and for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes (Article 5 (1) (b))"
"The person responsible shall notify these treatments to the CNPD (Article 27 (1))."
